The Road to Financial Wellness Comes to L.A.

What do you normally do on a weeknight? Do you go home from work and binge watch Stranger Things, or rewatch GOT while noshing on some cronuts? Try something new for a change!

Feed your mind and learn how to align your values and purpose with your money (yes, it’s possible) by checking out The Road to Financial Wellness‘s two pit stops in Los Angeles.

Thursday night in Pasadena we’ll have two amazing boss ladies and money gurus from L.A.: Melanie Lockert of Dear Debt Blog, and Kristin Wong of Lifehacker’s Two Cents.

Both events are entirely free! Plus, first 25 attendees at each event get a free copy of Jason’s book, You Only Live Once: The Roadmap to Financial Wellness and a Purposeful Life. Click below to RSVP!

A Cheapster’s Weekend: April 2 – 4

Friday

Free Screening of Amelie: 212 Cafe in Venice, which is one of my favorite bohemian java hangs on the Westside, is screening the beloved French romantic tale Amelie. It’s the story of a shy, lonely waitress who decides to change the lives of those around her for the better. The film stars Audrey Tatou as the cutesy waitress, little land gnomes and a whimsical Montmarte. Free movie? Oui oui! I haven’t seen this film since it came out back in 2001, but remember how enjoyable it is. Not to mention a real piece of cinematic eye candy.

Time: 8:45 p.m.
